Saving Grains, keeping profits in the village
We bridge the gap between smallholders and overseas markets by providing post-harvest, financing and export services.
Our Story
Bridging the gap between smallholders and global markets
Smallholder farmers and processors have the potential to produce world-class products. Don't believe us? Try our shea butter. We support producers from subsistence to industrial standards, from local supply to export.
For sustainable and fair value chains value must be created where it starts—in the village. To meet and exceed international standards, we provide hands-on training in post-harvest management, bottleneck post-harvest services and financing.
As a social enterprise, we reinvest our profits into the communities we serve—through agricultural inputs, direct investments, & cash. Our digital platform ensures secure payments, full traceability, and reliable quality for our international customers and smallholders. Headquartered in Berlin, Germany, we operate on the ground in Ghana and Kenya. Our vision is to create sustainable value in the village by unleashing the potential of Africa's smallholders onto the world market.
What we do
Empowering Smallholders to Thrive
We provide the bottleneck services, training and financing that smallholders need to meet international standards.
Post-Harvest Loss Reduction
Africa loses 30% of its grains after the harvest. Together with our partners we provide training and solutions. Good post-harvest practices and hermetic storage protect against insects, moisture and mold. We stop food waste and improve the income of smallholder farmers.
